POPLOCK 12 Piece Super Tungsten Carbide Gasket Scraper Set Review
I needed to get parking stickers off a vehicle windshield, and I wanted a scraper that felt good in my hand. I found cheaper options on Amazon, some for half the price or less, but they didn’t look particularly well made. The POPLOCK scraper set caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try.
After using the sharp blade on those stubborn stickers, I’m glad I did. The grip feels secure, the scraper feels well made, and the set comes with plenty of spare blades. See the POPLOCK scraper set on Amazon.

Product overview
This is a 12-piece scraper set from POPLOCK, a tool brand based in Taiwan. You get a scraper handle and a mix of replaceable blades: sharp steel blades for tougher scraping jobs, plastic blades for surfaces that need a gentler touch, and a carbide blade with straight and curved edges. The curved edge is included for cleaning around rounded or uneven areas, though I haven’t tried that blade myself. Poplock
What stood out as soon as I picked up the handle was the grip. It’s comfortable and genuinely non-slip. When you’re working on a sticker that’s been baked onto a windshield, that bit of control makes a difference.
Our review of the product
I bought the POPLOCK scraper set mainly to remove parking stickers from a vehicle windshield. Those stickers had been sitting in the sun and were firmly stuck. I put some water on the sticker, used the sharp blade, and worked with short strokes. The sticker came off beautifully.
The handle was the other pleasant surprise. The grip felt secure throughout the job, and the tool didn’t have that flimsy feel I was worried about when looking at some of the cheaper options. I also like opening the box and finding spare blades ready to go, including plastic ones for other scraping jobs. I haven’t tested every blade or put the scraper through months of use, so my two thumbs up are based on the build and the windshield job shown in the review.
Price and value
The POPLOCK scraper set was around $38 on Amazon when I recorded the review. You can certainly find cheaper scrapers. I considered some that cost half as much, but their listings didn’t give me much confidence in the build. I haven’t tested those other scrapers side by side, so I can’t tell you how long they’d last.
For me, the comfortable handle, the job the sharp blade did on the windshield sticker, and the included replacements made this one worth the price. If you only need a scraper for one tiny job, $38 may be more than you want to spend. If you’ll use one for stickers, household projects, or work on a vehicle, the POPLOCK scraper set on Amazon is worth a look. Check the current price before ordering.
Product Information from Manufacturer
POPLOCK describes the set as model 52012. According to the brand, the box includes one ergonomic handle, one reversible tungsten carbide blade with straight and curved edges, five SK5 steel razor blades, and five POM plastic scraper blades. POPLOCK says the handle’s quick-release clamp lets you change blades without a tool. The brand lists the handle length as 7.5 inches (190 mm). Poplock Tools
The manufacturer suggests different blades for different jobs: steel for stubborn material, plastic for labels and glue on surfaces that might scratch, and the curved carbide edge for rounded or uneven spots. That’s the manufacturer’s guidance; my own test was removing windshield stickers with a sharp blade. The box in the video says the scraper is made in Taiwan. Why we recommend it
The POPLOCK scraper set did exactly what I bought it for. I could grip the handle comfortably, keep control while scraping, and get the stubborn sticker off the windshield. The spare blades are useful, too. I would buy this one again, and I’m giving the POPLOCK scraper set two thumbs up.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. I used the POPLOCK scraper set to remove parking stickers from a vehicle windshield. I wet the sticker first and scraped with short strokes; that worked very well on the stickers I tested. Take care around painted surfaces, window tint, and other areas that could be damaged by a sharp blade. My result was on the windshield glass shown in the review, so I wouldn’t assume the same blade suits every part of a vehicle.

POPLOCK lists one reversible carbide blade, five SK5 steel razor blades, and five POM plastic scraper blades, plus the handle. The carbide blade has a straight edge and a curved edge. That gives you sharp options for stubborn residue and plastic blades for jobs where a metal edge may be too aggressive. I used a sharp blade for the windshield stickers; I haven’t tested every included blade.
-
POPLOCK describes the plastic blades as an option for removing labels and glue from glass or other surfaces that metal blades might scratch. That doesn’t guarantee a mark-free result on every finish, especially if grit is trapped under the blade. Choose the blade for the surface, check the surface maker’s cleaning instructions, and try a small, less visible spot first. My review doesn’t include a separate test of the plastic blades.
-
I think so, if you expect to use a scraper more than once. The handle feels comfortable and secure, the sharp blade handled a difficult windshield sticker, and the box includes replacements. Cheaper sets do exist, but I didn’t test those against POPLOCK, and I can’t promise how long any of them will last. The roughly $38 figure is what I saw when recording; check today’s listing for the actual price.

Final verdict
Two thumbs up for the POPLOCK scraper set. I bought it to get sun-baked parking stickers off a windshield, and it did the job. The comfortable non-slip grip and the extra blades make the higher price easier to justify. Check the POPLOCK scraper set on Amazon if that sounds like the kind of scraper you’ll keep using.
