One of the first things that impressed me was the grip. The rubberized sides give you a really secure feel, especially when shaving with wet hands.
Another standout feature is the shock-absorbing motion in the handle. When you press down while shaving, the handle moves to absorb pressure. It’s a little different at first—almost like a “four-wheel drive” feeling for a razor—but it really does glide smoothly over stubble.
The blades themselves are excellent. You get five blades plus a moisturizing strip, and the shave is extremely smooth. You also get a flip-back precision trimmer to get under the nose or tight areas—this worked really well.
I tested the blades on both the Hydro Sensitive handle and an older Schick handle, and the blades still performed perfectly. So they’re quite versatile.
Schick claims up to 18 shaves per blade, and honestly, I agree. You will easily get around 15+ shaves depending on your facial hair.
All in all, excellent shave quality, excellent blades, comfortable handle—nothing to complain about other than just needing to get used to the shock absorption feel.
