Our Review of the Product

Replacing the battery was simple:
Push down on the stainless steel cover of the AirTag.
Rotate counter-clockwise.
Remove the cover and old battery.

Close it back up with a twist.
The battery fits perfectly and works instantly—no issues at all.
The only downside is the extremely secure child-safe packaging. And I mean secure. You are going to need scissors or a knife to cut through it. I 100% understand why it’s necessary, but just be prepared to put a little effort into opening it.
Aside from that, performance is exactly what you expect from Duracell: dependable, long-lasting, and consistent.
